Thus it begins

I have spent a great deal of time reading the other blogs around the WWW and felt that since I am beginning a new adventure I would document it for myself and those who feel that after knitting for 20 plus years I would make my own yarn. I met an amazing women who like many others I have tried to learn from, is willing and eager to share her expertise. Iwas shocked to realize that there are many people out there who feel they have cornered the market on knoweldge about the old art of spinning and wouldn't share. I have also learned about natural dyes and the process so this blog will document my travels, and detours that may happen. Trust me on this, I will spent many hours on the road less traveled while I explore my new craft. I hope to go into more details about the beginning but an empty blog was intimidating me and I felt that I better get my butt in gear and start sharing. I hope any gentle readers will be patient with the slow start to witty prose, but promise that in the future I will be creating and sharing with humor and instruction.
